I never write reviews, but Dr. Slusky was absolutely amazing! She spent a lot of time with me and truly cared about what was best for my eyes. I was long overdue in getting my eyes examined, and she was extremely kind and helpful. She explained what she was doing and made sure I was comfortable.
Amanda also spent a lot of time with me so that I could pick out the right pair of glasses. She helped me with my contacts and went above and beyond. I will only be going back to Halstead Eye Boutique for my eye needs!

I live out in the suburbs and I make a point to come here for all my eye exams. These doctors are thorough in their exams. They care about your overall health and happiness. It's not just a standard eye exam, they take your blood pressure and always makes a point to show and explain to you all of what they see in your eye. And, before and after the exam is done, the ladies at the front desk are incredibly friendly, professional and refreshingly honest about which pair of the selection of designer glasses works for you. They're not trying to sell you.
Only downside to this place is that I live an hour away from there

Fantastic for my 3 year old! She threw wood chips in the air and got something in her eye . I was really worried about taking her to the doctor because she was terrible about letting us look at her eye at home. Even though the doctor schedule is full they worked us in that morning after I called. The doctor just did fantastic with her! I really appreciated how the office had toys and eyeglasses and squeeze pouches for the kids. I would happily go back to see dr. Slusky and recommend her any day of the week, so great with the kids. Did I mention they gave her a teddy bear?!

The team there is thoughtful, kind, realistic about expectations and educated me about how to care for my eyes in a way that is more helpful than anywhere I’ve been before. Very nice place! Great service—professional and prompt doctors and staff. They are so nice and more importantly, on time for my appointment and knowledgeable. Dr. Kumar was patient and thorough. Sydney was awesome to work with to choose and order frames. Ask for Sydney! She was patient with me trying on all sorts of frames for prescription sunglasses and gave great advice on what color lenses vs the frames. She also actually found the perfect frames for me that also worked great with my insurance coverage. Pricier frames in general but great selection of luxury frames. Don’t miss their complimentary beer/Truly/White Claws... and of course sparkling waters and tea and whatnot. Also you can schedule your exam appointment online!
